This richly illustrated, Polish and English photo-book was released to celebrate Krzysztof Pastor’s 60th birthday and the 30th anniversary of his stage debut.
Poignant, exceptional, poetic, moving. That is the only way to describe the ballets of Krzysztof Pastor, an outstanding choreographer, director of the Polish National Ballet since 2008 and artistic director of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre since 2011, whose work is known practically across the globe. The book includes beautiful photographs of Pastor’s older and most recent creations such as The Tempest, Casanova in Warsaw, Romeo and Juliet, as well as backstage pictures capturing the choreographer at work in the ballet studio.
